Interiority

Interiority is an interactive audiovisual piece that asks the viewer to look inside themself by literally stepping inside an interior space, where they are prompted to spin dials to ‘align’ their chakras. Doing so brings sonic & visual clarity to a soundscape and visual feed of themself, but they must keep spinning dials like plates to maintain the experience against entropy. Meanwhile the exterior video and soundscape is mangled with each chakra alignment.

The inside viewer is shielded from the visual and sonic effects of the outside experience, asked to focus on their own experience and weigh personal fulfillment, novelty, and inner peace against the experience of others.
